The Ramnamis are a group of Untouchables from India. Banned from entering temples along with other Hundus, they decided to tattoo God's name (Ram) all over their faces+bodies. A mesage to say that they 'could have God with them too'. This has angered the upper-castes who feel that they're 'polluting' God's name.
