Just discovered this awesome blog by NY-based photographer Myriam Babin who also runs SUPPER’D: a boutique dining and design consultation company providing photography, design, web building, and social media as well as menu consulting services. She recently exhibited her work titled On The Line, at Digital Plus in Brooklyn. 'Capturing the city one kitchen at a time.' Combining her photography and her personal interest in culinary culture, Myriam Babin created New York Kitchen, a blog documenting the behind the scenes of New York City restaurants.
In her photographs, Babin aims to capture the grit and the glamour of the city’s kitchens. One of her goals is to show the energy one finds in these busy spaces: the intense pace, the heat, sweat and burns combined with the finesse and attention to detail that goes into creating beautiful food.
