Hi Joe, Very nice to 'hear' from you! I'm quite moved by your drawings. I find the ones I've posted, of people by themselves, very powerful. I LOVE your simple, yet detailed drawing style... the characters exude so much feeling+personality, I instantly connected with them... they look like ghosts (friendly ones) that appear on the page while everything else in the picture disappears... you're awesome. What you see in the figures matches up well with what I think about as I choose gestures, facial types etc. This concordance between viewer and artist doesn't always Happen (doesn't necessarily need to ) but is helpful for me to note when it does. I am wondering what you might think of some of my newer work, which are more epic environments with a lot more going on. I'd be curious if they are interesting to you or not, if you are willing to take a look. Also interested in your background. You are in science I think? Hope you are well. Best, J.
