Carlo Gianferro. Gypsy Architecture.
The notion of Gypsy architecture is bizarre in itself since most of us know Gypsies as nomads who roam the earth, never settling down for too long. Nevertheless, in southeastern Europe, there exists a unique and colorful architecture created by Gypsies. The aesthetic is a true mix of every architectural style of the globe! How does it work? the head of each family choses the style, size and finishings for their house, based on his own personal tastes/memories and experiences of travel.
