Bob Kronbauer, Mike Giles + Annie Lam of the Canadian charity Contributor, have curated a traveling art show called “Smile On Your Brother”. The show features over 50 hand crafted oak skateboards, made by the dudes from FURNI, which have been further beautified by artists from all over the world. The boards are being auctioned off with the proceeds going to supplying skateboards to Canadian kids who might not otherwise be able to afford them.
The show is hitting in MTL on October 2nd-4th 2009 at OFF THE HOOK (1021a Ste-Catherine O.) Vernissage Friday October 2nd 8-11pm. In association with POP MONTREAL.
