Nacio Jan Brown photographed the major anti-war and social protest movement activities in the Bay Area during the 1960s and 70s. His photographs were published widely in the "underground" press of the times. Since that time, his photographs have been featured in many books, magazines, and newspapers worldwide... and been exhibited in a number of museums and galleries. Nacio published the book, Rag Theater in 1975, which documents street life on the 2400 block of Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley from 1969-1973... only 300 copies made of this limited edition publication.
