Photographs inspired by the rap music that once inspired me. Paul Labonté.
This is the fourth book by my homeboy Paul Labonté, a Montreal-based author and photographer. It's a collection of photos inspired by the rap music that once inspired him. The book also includes an interview with Paul by music journalist Scott Clyke. This project began as a photo essay exhibited at the 381 projects space in Toronto in 2008. As a fan of both Paul's work, and of the rap music Paul references, I am excited to get a copy of this hefty book. (cop it here: desfois.com) Check out more goodness from Paul at smashingalltoys.com
