Positive Posters was founded in 2009 by graphic designer Nick Hallam. It's a non-profit international poster competition run by a group of volunteers based in Melbourne, Australia. Designers have 2 months to create and submit a positive design that responds to the annual theme. An exhibition is held of the top 30 posters, and the winner chosen by a group of international judges. Then 4000 copies are printed of the winning poster and pasted all over the streets of Melbourne." Graphic/ Communication designers have a unique ability to communicate visually, however their talent is often restrained by client needs.
